Role Description

As a Social Media Intern at OpenWav, you’ll support the team in building and implementing engaging social media strategies to connect with our community of indie artists and their fans. Your responsibilities will include creating dynamic and relevant content for various platforms, scheduling and publishing posts, and monitoring social media trends. You will also assist in analyzing performance metrics, engaging with our community, and contributing to marketing initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site summer internship located in Los Angeles, CA, providing an immersive experience in the intersection of music, technology, and marketing.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Foundational knowledge in Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies, with a passion for brand promotion and audience growth.
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to craft impactful messages and interact with the community confidently.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook is essential.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and develop actionable insights.
  • Enthusiasm for the music industry and empowerment of indie artists is highly valued.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and future AI trends
  • Familiarity with camera equipment and filming
