Position Overview

Rho is seeking a talented and experienced contract Video Production Manager to lead our video content strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for increasing our video output while maintaining exceptional quality and brand consistency across diverse content types.

You’ll create engaging videos that resonate with our dual audiences of business founders and finance professionals, from customer testimonials and product demos to educational content and social media assets. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with technical expertise and project management skills.

They’re comfortable producing content that resonates with startup founders, and other content that resonates with accountants and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive video content strategy that effectively speaks to both founders and finance professionals

  • Manage the end-to-end video production process from concept to publication

  • Create and maintain a consistent video content calendar including customer case studies, product videos, and social content

  • Direct video shoots and oversee post-production processes

  • Produce compelling customer testimonials that showcase real-world applications of Rho’s platform

  • Create product videos that clearly explain complex financial features in accessible ways

  • Develop engaging social content optimized for different platforms and audience segments

  • Adapt messaging to resonate with both entrepreneurial founders and detail-oriented finance professionals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify video opportunities across marketing channels

  • Manage production budgets and timelines effectively

  • Analyze video performance metrics and optimize content accordingly

  • Stay current with video production trends, techniques, and technologies

  • Build relationships with external vendors and freelancers as needed

  • Train and mentor junior team members on video production best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, preferably in a fintech, SaaS, or B2B marketing environment

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful video marketing campaigns for diverse audience segments

  • Experience creating both founder-focused (visionary, benefits-oriented) and finance professional-focused (detailed, feature-oriented) content

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating video production capabilities across various formats (testimonials, product demos, social content, etc.)

  • Proficiency with video production equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and how video content performs across platforms

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the fintech or financial services sector

  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies for SaaS platforms

  • Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation tools

  • Experience producing content targeting startup founders and finance professionals

  • Experience managing small production teams or contractors

  • Understanding of SEO principles for video optimization
