You will be part of a team that aims to make the products and services offered by Tools for Humanity the safest and most trustworthy on the internet. You will partner with teams from every part of the company from Product, Engineering, Fraud, Security, Legal, Policy, Operations and Comms. You are connective tissue building, operationalizing and enforcing policies and practices that make us better.
In this role, you will:
Identify strategic areas of trust and safety importance.
Craft policies to ensure the people using our services, understand how they can use the services, and how we keep them safe when they do.
Work with cross functional partners to operationalize policies to people around the world.
Provide support to our users working in partnership with teams across the company and world.
Understand our products, systems and tools; investigate patterns through data analysis.
Contribute to building our Trust & Safety tooling to improve efficiency and insights.
Visit Operations in the field to evaluate compliance, train Operators and their staff and support the local TFH Operations teams.
Provide a path for support to escalate trust and safety concerns.
Maintain a high level of organization and prioritization.
Apply first principles thinking to solve unique problems as they arise.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 4 years (with a preference of more) performing autonomously within a Trust & Safety organization.
Experienced in analyzing disparate data sets and comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
First principles thinker
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong business judgment and communication skills
Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision
Availability during periods of heightened risk (including on weekends and holidays)
Strong experience working with global operations
Strong plus if you have experience in using a database query language (e.g. SQL) and data processing and analytics tools such as Python / R / SAS is a plus
Pay transparency statement (for CA and NY based roles):
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $155,000 – $190,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
