👩🏽‍💻The Role

As our Product Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our vision and the execution of our mobile app. You’ll own the entire product lifecycle, from concept and strategy to execution and optimization. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth collaboration and flawless delivery.

Responsibilities:

Development and Execution:

Translate business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including designers, developers, engineers, architects, and software testers (QA). Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.

Provide technical value to the product team, leveraging your mobile app development background for API testing, and integration with third parties.

Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify user needs and opportunities.

Support in defining the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features, and aligning with business goals

User Experience and Analytics:

Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyzing user data to understand how customers are interacting with the product and identify areas for improvement

Analyze user data and metrics to track product performance and inform future iterations.

Ensure the app provides a seamless and intuitive user experience across platforms.

Product testing

Test the quality and performance of each new feature developed once available in a lower environment.

Work with other product managers and Engineering team to prioritize any bugs identified and provide improvements to the products based on customer feedback.

Provide ideas, suggestions, and improvements for the test strategies devised by the testers for the products

Communication and Collaboration:

Effectively communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders across the organization.

Collaborate with design, marketing, and other teams to ensure a holistic product experience.

Manage cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with all stakeholders

📖 Skills

👉🏾 Essential:

2-3 years of experience in product development, preferably with a focus on mobile app development including 1 year product management

Qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical BA/BS

Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Strong understanding of the mobile app development process, including design, development, and testing.

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness and self-starting approach and an entrepreneurial mindset

⭐️ Bonus:

Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Knowledge of mobile app best practices and emerging technologies.

Strong technical skills in a relevant programming language (Flutter, Dart)
