Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, developer tutorials, and API documentation for software engineers
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary information for accurate and effective documentation
- Develop external content tailored to diverse audiences, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and interactive developer guides
- Review, test, and edit documents created by others to ensure they have clarity, consistency, and are up to date
- Plan and manage complex documentation projects, overseeing information architecture and organization
- Enhance developer documentation with relevant sample code to aid understanding and implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical writer, possessing a personal style guide and a strong portfolio of writing samples
- At least 1 year of experience with blockchain technology
- Preferably at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science
- Expertise in using Github and Markdown for documentation
- Familiarity with static site generators such as Docusaurus, Gitbook, and Read The Docs
- Experience with project management tools like Jira and Linear
- Ability to read, understand, and work with source code written in JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, Rust, and Solidity
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and React Native
- Comfortable working in a UNIX environment and collaborating closely with software engineers on a daily basis
- Full proficiency in the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently on highly technical projects
