SVP, AML Compliance (RD Pay)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a leadership of overall regulatory and financial crime compliance for RD’s licensed subsidiaries in fiat and digital transfer and value storage.
  • Lead and perform comprehensive compliance advisory, focusing on regulatory and financial crime compliance. This involves developing, maintaining, and implementing relevant policies and procedures.
  • Lead the establishment and maintenance of a robust compliance governance framework and nurture a culture of compliance of the licensed entities.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs, oversee special projects, training initiatives, and assurance reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted partner within the Group, offering compliance advisory support and assurance functions to facilitate business growth in existing and emerging areas.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with regulators, maintaining a high level of mutual trust and collaboration.
  • Undertake the role of AML Compliance Officer / Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the Group’s licensed stream and fulfil any other responsible officer roles mandated by applicable laws and regulations as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in AML, compliance or equivalent roles in banks, regulated financial institutions, regulatory or enforcement authorities.
  • University degree with relevant professional certifications.
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication, project leadership, people management, and regulatory relationship management skills.
  • Strong interest and dedication to financial technologies, innovations, integrity, and Treating Customer Fairly (TCF) principles.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
