Strategy & Operations Associate
New York City or Chicago – Full-Time, In-Person
Coinflow is a venture-backed fintech startup building the next-generation infrastructure for faster, more flexible payments. Whether it’s crypto, stablecoins, or traditional rails, we’re focused on one thing—helping our partners move money with speed, control, and confidence.
We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate—a high-output generalist with strong analytical chops, and excellent judgment. This role is perfect for someone with ~2 years of experience in consulting or strategic/ops roles at a top-tier tech company, hungry to get their hands dirty and help build a business from the ground up.
You’ll work directly with cross-functional leaders to identify bottlenecks, define and execute strategic priorities, and own core operational initiatives that drive growth. From helping launch new products and streamline processes, to negotiating with vendors and supporting key partnerships—this is a true Swiss-army-knife role with exposure across the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead key cross-functional projects that improve internal efficiency and customer experience
- Build and refine operational workflows across functions like onboarding, compliance, support, and finance
- Identify process gaps and implement scalable systems to support company growth
- Conduct analysis on customer behavior, product usage, and financial performance to inform decisions
- Interface with partners, vendors, and service providers to negotiate terms and manage execution
- Monitor KPIs and report on performance trends, risks, and opportunities
- Contribute to planning processes, including quarterly goal-setting and resource allocation
- Support financial operations including payments reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, and vendor payouts, helping ensure accuracy and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or strategy roles in a high-performing tech or fintech environment
- Comfort working in high-velocity, ambiguous settings where priorities shift quickly
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data in tools like Excel, Sheets, or SQL
- Operational mindset and ability to break down problems and build solutions from scratch
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Willingness to work primarily in-person from either our New York City or Chicago office
Bonus Points:
- Experience in payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure
