Summary
The Operations team at Latitude.sh is responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of our global infrastructure. While provisioning new servers and IT infrastructure is essential, our mission is to maintain high availability, ensure rapid response times, and deliver exceptional service quality to our clients.
We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our team, working on the second (01:00 PM to 10:00 PM) or third shift (10:00 PM to 07:00 AM). This role requires hands-on technical skills, strong ownership of tasks, and the ability to lead and support critical operational processes across multiple data center environments.
Key Responsabilities
- Lead the execution and coordination of operational tasks involving infrastructure services – including servers, storage, networking equipment, and platform software;
- Perform and oversee rack and stack activities, hardware installation, and in-cabinet maintenance;
- Manage relationships and workflows with remote data center techs, ensuring adherence to operational standards and procedures;
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems;
- Conduct root cause analysis and handle complex issues related to hardware failures, RAID rebuilds, storage allocation, and disk lifecycle management;
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot out-of-band management platforms such as IPMI/BMC;
- Support and improve internal operational documentation, workflows, and escalation procedures;
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced English communication skills (B2 or higher);
- Proven experience with server hardware, including diagnostics, replacements, and upgrades;
- Strong understanding of data center standards, rack layouts, cabling, power distribution (PDU), and remote hands coordination;
- Proficiency with monitoring platforms, ticketing systems, and incident handling workflows;
- Solid knowledge of Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar), including command line operations, scripting, and performance tuning;
- Working knowledge of Windows Server environments;
- Familiarity with RAID technologies, disk provisioning, and troubleshooting storage systems;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar working experience;
- Prior experience in a senior role within a data center operations or infrastructure support team is a strong plus.
