The Regulatory Compliance Project Management and Reporting (PMR) function is responsible for providing support for other Regulatory Compliance Teams by maintaining and enhancing governance activities, developing and producing metrics and reporting, supporting budget development & tracking, project managing (end-to-end) various Regulatory Compliance initiatives, leading special projects, and improving operational effectiveness and driving team maturation efforts.

The Senior Associate of Project Management and Reporting will be responsible for execution of the PMR function. Responsibilities include the following:

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

Metrics & Reporting

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Regulatory Compliance metric and reporting program that enables efficient and automated reporting:
    • Analyze the current state and define objectives for a unified program,
    • Identify data sources and design data collection processes,
    • Integrate data from multiple courses while driving data accuracy and consolidation,
    • Review and define new/additional metrics
    • Create a reporting framework, including (re)-designing templates, establishing reporting frequencies, identifying appropriate reporting tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Looker or custom-built solutions to maximize impact)
    • Implement automation and visualization enhancements (e.g., automate data extraction and population of templates, build interactive self-service dashboards, apply visualization best practices)
  • Work with Regulatory Compliance teams to produce and innovate existing reporting

Governance

  • Support the development, tracking and reporting of teams’ annual objectives and key results
  • Support the team’s annual budget development process and create a process for effectively tracking spend throughout the year
  • Share and implement governance best practices across Regulatory Compliance teams to drive consistency

Operational Effectiveness

  • Assess existing processes, practices, workflows and tools to identify areas of improved efficiency /enhancements to meet evolving business needs and enable Regulatory Compliance teams to work more efficiently

Project Management, Vendor Support and Special Projects

  • Provide end-to-end project management support to Regulatory Compliance teams, including project planning/scoping and execution, prioritization, resources management, status management and internal/external communication
  • Support drafting business requirements for internal projects and with external vendors
  • Coordinate all external vendor/third-party tool or solution implementation across Regulatory Compliance with relevant stakeholders (e.g., QA case management system and risk and AI-driven control mapping solution
  • Partner closely with internal technology/applications teams on the implementation of solutions for Regulatory Compliance
  • Lead special projects that will lead to further maturation or expansion of Regulatory Compliance

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer/data science, business analytics or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience in a project management and reporting or data analytics role, preferably at a FinTech company
  • Proficiency in GSheets and SQL for data extraction, manipulation and analysis
  • Proven record to drive report automation through basic programming skills (e.g., using Google Analytics, Python)
  • Highly proficient in data visualization in order to create interactive and insightful dashboards and reporting
  • Experience leading projects from project inception through to handover, and strong familiarity with project management tools/software (e.g., Jira, Asana) and communication platforms (e.g., Slack)
  • Outstanding GSlides skills (ability to create polished, highly impactful and visually appealing GSlides presentations for a variety of internal and external stakeholders)
  • Experience tracking annual budget
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability working cross functionally, delivering technical solutions and implementing improvements.
  • Technical report writing and communication/presentation skills, knows how to translate business needs/requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong data driven mindset and decision maker
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Track record of delivering work to a high quality standard
  • Hands-on involvement in developing and producing metrics and reporting
  • Strong written/verbal communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly-motivated, analytical, organized, innovative and adaptive
  • Good presentation skills, multi-tasking capability, team-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with global partners in other functional units
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary
  • Ability to work with limited direction from management

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with and/or keen interest in cryptocurrency
  • Experience with or previous exposure to financial services regulators

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range:
£73,710£81,900 GBP
