Your mission:
We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking professional to join our team and help elevate the security, and resilience of our people and facilities.
In this role, you’ll support a wide range of physical security operations – from safeguarding assets and monitoring intrusion detection systems to ensure secure storage, effective surveillance, travel security measures, and robust access control.
You’ll play an active role in implementing and optimising our security technologies, assisting with technical assessments, and helping to maintain regulatory compliance and operational readiness across all locations.
Beyond the technical scope, you’ll be a key partner in fostering seamless communication and coordination – working closely with internal teams as well as external vendors and service providers to ensure we uphold the highest standards of physical security across the organisation.
What you will do:
- Support and coordinate the operation of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems — including supplier selection, procurement, and ongoing vendor oversight.
- Conduct physical security assessments, audits, and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities, propose mitigation strategies, and assist in implementing improvements. This includes preparing clear, detailed reports, plans, and documentation outlining security requirements and key findings.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation to strengthen our overall physical security framework.
- Assist in designing, planning, deploying, and maintaining access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems for new office spaces and upcoming hub launches.
- Partner with the Workplaces team on construction and infrastructure projects to ensure physical security considerations are embedded from the start, facilitating smooth coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management or business administration and economics, or equivalent experience; alternatively, at least five years of military or police service. Overseas mission experience is an advantage.
- Native-level German and strong English communication skills, with proficiency in technical writing and office systems; capable of producing clear reports, plans, and documentation.
- Proven experience managing physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection), conducting site surveys, audits, threat analyses, and risk assessments, and applying relevant security standards and best practices.
- Strong technical understanding of security hardware, software, and integrations, with hands-on experience in system design and implementation for office build-outs, relocations, or hub openings; able to oversee procurement and vendor management.
- Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong project management skills; legally authorised to work in the EU, available full-time with flexible hours, and willing and cleared to travel globally following successful background checks.
