As a key leader, you will be responsible for building the team from the ground up, establishing local operations, and ensuring alignment with other business units, and for delivering best quality products to our internal and external customers.

Your Impact:

• You’ll be joining the Cisco Silicon One Bangalore team, the core center of Cisco’s software and ASIC design.

• You’ll be part of the group driving our groundbreaking next-generation network devices—Cisco Silicon One.

• Our unique team operates in a startup-like environment within a stable, industry-leading company, developing the full software stack that enables Silicon One ASICs. Join a group of dedicated engineers with a proven track record of delivering breakthrough products.

• Our R&D center is outstanding, hosting all silicon hardware and software development teams on a single site.

• We are transforming the industry by building new AI/ML networks and delivering a unified, programmable silicon architecture that serves as the foundation for all of Cisco’s future routing products.

• Our devices are designed to be universally adaptable across service provider and web-scale markets, supporting fixed and modular platforms. They deliver high speed (50+ terabits per second) without compromising programmability, buffering, power efficiency, scale, or feature flexibility.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university, with demonstrated excellence

• Strong expertise in C++ SDK development, specifically applied to networking systems and technologies

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated technical leadership through hands-on contribution and mentoring

• Familiarity with networking technologies and concepts

• Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills, with strong self-motivation and a focus on execution
