As a compliance-focused software engineer at Rain, you’re someone who advocates for compliance as an integral part of building a product. In practice, this can look like creating internal tooling for our compliance team, working with our issuing team to embed compliance processes into existing structures, or leveraging our data platform to prepare for audits. Compliance can’t be an afterthought, and you’re someone who appreciates the precision that this requires.
Play a central role in shaping our approach to compliance engineering
Build tooling and services to scale our KYC/KYB/TM pipelines
Centralize and future-proof our compliance data strategy
Ship excellent code iteratively and often
3+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience with Node.js and backend systems
Someone who considers the exacting standards of compliance a pro, not a con
Experience at a card issuing platform or payments infrastructure company
Familiarity with integrating existing KYC/KYB vendors and their pros and cons
Experience with transaction monitoring at scale

Compensation Range: $130,000 – $237,008
