About The Role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end user operations strategy for US stock trading products (stocks, ETFs, options, etc.), covering key stages including user acquisition, activation, retention, and trading conversion, with clear ownership of core growth and engagement metrics.
- Build and continuously optimize user segmentation and lifecycle management frameworks based on trading behavior, experience level, and risk profile. Identify key user journeys and friction points across onboarding, funding, trading, and portfolio management, and drive measurable improvements through structured operational initiatives.
- Lead in-depth analysis of user behavior and trading data, establish and maintain core operational dashboards and indicators (e.g., activation rate, trading frequency, ARPU, churn). Translate insights into actionable strategies to improve user engagement and trading participation.
- Partner closely with product, risk, compliance, and engineering teams to drive the optimization and iteration of core trading-related features, including onboarding, order placement, market data experience, portfolio insights, and investor education. Convert operational insights and user feedback into clear product requirements and operational frameworks.
- Design and own scalable growth programs, trading incentives, task systems, and lifecycle campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Evaluate effectiveness through post-campaign analysis and continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor practices among major US stock brokers and trading platforms, proactively identify opportunities and risks, and provide strategic recommendations for product and operational improvements.
- Ensure all operational strategies, user communications, and growth initiatives comply with relevant financial regulations and internal compliance standards, and proactively manage operational risks related to user behavior and trading activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in user operations, product operations, or growth roles within fintech, securities trading platforms, or financial services. Proven experience owning user lifecycle strategies and driving measurable improvements in engagement or trading metrics.
- Strong understanding of US stock trading products and market structure, including stocks, ETFs, and options, with solid knowledge of trading rules, market sessions, and common user behaviors across different experience levels.
- Highly data-driven with strong analytical skills. Proficient in Excel and SQL, and experienced with data dashboards or BI tools to support strategic decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and marketing teams, and to influence roadmap and priorities through operational insights.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, capable of articulating complex user behavior and business logic in clear, structured formats.
- Good English reading and writing skills to understand industry materials, regulatory guidelines, and product documentation.
