We’re seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to lead hiring for TRM’s Engineering Leadership team—critical positions that will shape the future of our infrastructure, product, and team. You’ll be the tip of the spear in sourcing, engaging, and closing world-class engineering leaders who thrive in ambiguity, ship with urgency, and know how to scale systems and teams. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role: You’ll be embedded with our Founders, VP of Engineering, and Heads of Product, Data, and Infrastructure to drive leadership hiring from job intake to close.
The impact you’ll have here:
- Own the full lifecycle of engineering leadership searches—Senior Manager to VP level—including calibration, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding transitions.
- Design and drive bespoke search strategies for deeply technical and often niche leadership roles across infrastructure, security, platform, product, and data.
- Build and manage pipelines of passive leadership talent, mapping org charts, leading proactive outreach, and developing strategic sequencing.
- Partner with founders and executives to define what excellence looks like and shape TRM’s leadership bar through scorecards, rubrics, and interview design.
- Deliver data-driven insights to continuously refine search direction, improve conversion rates, and enable faster, better decisions.
- Champion a world-class candidate experience, acting as a thought partner to senior-level candidates navigating multiple high-stakes opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, with 3+ years focused on hiring Engineering Leaders in high-growth US-based startups or fast-scaling companies.
- Proven ability to run bespoke search strategies: you know how to find needles in haystacks and can explain how you got there.
- Deep experience with sourcing tools, Boolean searches, org chart mapping, and building out high-conversion leadership pipelines.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments—you move fast, recalibrate often, and thrive with little hand-holding.
- Data-literate: You leverage funnel metrics, candidate feedback, and market trends to improve outcomes and guide hiring teams.
- Executive presence and storytelling: You can speak founder-to-founder and craft compelling narratives that resonate with senior technical leaders.

- Our talent team is fully remote, embracing async communication and collaboration through Slack channels, thorough documentation, and proactive updates to keep work moving forward smoothly across time zones.
- We’re committed to structured alignment, holding weekly hiring syncs for each role, weekly team sourcing syncs, and bi-weekly team meetings to ensure everyone is on the same page and to solve challenges collectively.
- Driven by a dedication to our craft, we continuously refine our best practices and data quality to deliver an exceptional experience for both internal stakeholders and candidates, supported by precise, reliable reporting.
- As a globally distributed team, we operate across various time zones, yet most of us overlap for collaboration and meetings between 7am-12pm PST, bringing flexibility and resilience to our work routines.
- All team members, regardless of location, maintain at least a 4-hour overlap with PST business hours to enable real-time collaboration and drive solutions effectively across the team.

- Within 72 hours of receiving a position, you schedule the intake meeting, open the position in the ATS, post the description, design the interview process, configure the interview plan.
- Within week of opening a position, you have conducted 5-10 Recruiter Screens and have conducted the first sync with the Hiring Team for calibration.
- Two weeks after the initial interviews, you analyze the data to identify what is and isn’t driving pass rates and conversions. You share your insights and recommendations with the hiring team to refine and optimize the search, and you continue to monitor and adjust the approach until the position is filled.
