As a Senior Strategic Finance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction and strategic priorities of the organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert in financial modeling and advanced data analytics, providing actionable insights into business performance and supporting the evaluation of complex economic trade-offs. As a trusted advisor to both group and subsidiary leadership teams, you will proactively highlight performance trends, diagnose the root causes of variances, and recommend strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the comprehensive financial budgeting process, coordinating with business units to align group-level initiatives with local strategies.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) of various projects, and prioritize strategic investments.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and provide in-depth data analytics to inform business conditions and evaluate economic implications of strategic decisions.
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to subsidiaries and group-level businesses, providing insights into performance trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
- Conduct multi-dimensional financial performance analysis (by products, channels, and partners) to support proactive business scaling and profitability improvements.
- Provide continuous decision support through active monitoring of business drivers, industry trends, and competitor benchmarking/analysis.
- Prepare and present periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis reports to senior management to facilitate critical business decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement within the overall finance function, fostering innovation and automation in reporting, planning, and analysis processes.
- Manage various Investor Relations activities, including the circulation of periodic reports to major investors and responding to their inquiries.
- Participate actively in strategic initiatives such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising, encompassing valuation model development, due diligence, and strategic discussions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced qualifications preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, or related roles, ideally within a fast-paced, complex, or multinational environment.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and advanced data analytics.
- Track record of supporting or leading strategic initiatives such as M&A, fundraising, or large-scale transformation projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in investor relations or direct engagement with external stakeholders is an advantage.
