Meet the Team

We’re a team in Developer Observability, focused on giving engineers the tools and insights they need to ship faster and smarter. Our work supports teams across the organization by improving decision-making and development workflows. We operate as a distributed team across the US and Poland.

Your Impact

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable systems and data pipelines. You will play a key role in system architecture, setting engineering standards, mentoring other engineers, and driving best practices across the team. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership and strong collaboration skills.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Design end-to-end, cloud‑native architectures and data pipelines using Python, AWS, and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow/MWAA, Glue).

  • Establish engineering standards, invest in AI‑assisted engineering and testing practices, and improve CI/CD, observability, and developer workflows.

  • Build, containerize, deploy, and operate services using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines with strong testing and monitoring.

  • Contribute to high-level technical decisions, write design documentation, review code, and partner with cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • Support other engineers through mentoring, best-practice sharing, and fostering a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience, with strong system design skills, architecture documentation, and engineering fundamentals.

  • Hands-on experience building production systems with Python, including testing, clean code practices, and API integrations.

  • Practical experience with AWS (IAM, S3, Glue, Athena, MWAA/Airflow), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and Git-based workflows.

  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability/monitoring best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, lead technical project execution, and contribute to team roadmap development in collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with another mainstream language (Go, Java, Kotlin)

  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift)

  • Background in developer productivity or SDLC optimization

  • Experience with Vault or similar secret-management tools
