RD Group is a pioneering Fintech startup, licensed as a Stored Value Facility (SVF) provider, is actively participating in Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) stablecoin sandbox. As a payment platform and a stablecoin issuer, our goal is to innovate and expand the digital payments ecosystem and connect Web2 and Web3 by bringing crypto payment solution to the real economy.
Role Overview:
A hands-on compliance role covering all AML and regulatory compliance matters for the firm. You will be responsible for the daily execution of the compliance program and providing guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- AML & CFT:
- Manage client onboarding (KYC/CDD) and periodic reviews.
- Oversee transaction monitoring, investigation and reporting of suspicious activities.
- Oversee the filing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and post-STR review processes.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Provide timely advice to business units on SFC rules and regulations.
- Handle SFC licensing applications and maintain CPT records for licensed staff.
- Conduct routine compliance monitoring and assurance review.
- Review marketing materials for compliance.
- General Duties:
- Update and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures, and compliance MIS reports and escalation to the relevant management and board committees.
- Assist the Compliance Officer with SFC inspections, regulatory inquiries, and reporting.
- Deliver compliance training to staff.
Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of compliance experience in an SFC licensed firm.
- Strong, practical knowledge of the SFO, SFC Codes of Conduct, and VASP AML regulations.
- University degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS, AAMLP) are a plus.
