What you’ll be responsible for:
As Senior Manager, Global Benefits, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Circle’s global benefits strategy (including health, dental, life, disability, risk, leaves of absence, and retirement plans across 15+ global locations), ensuring Circle delivers best-in-class benefit programs that align with our values, culture, and business goals. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders across Talent, Legal, and Finance, as well as external brokers and vendors, to deliver equitable, competitive, and compliant programs that support the diverse needs of our global workforce.
What you’ll work on:
Develop and execute a global benefits philosophy and strategy that aligns with Circle’s values and supports employee wellbeing.
Evaluate existing programs and implement enhancements to improve competitiveness, inclusivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Partner with regional teams to ensure local benefits programs are aligned with market standards and employee expectations.
Continuously enhance employee engagement with benefits programs by communicating effectively and creatively to ensure understanding of offerings.
Lead benefits vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship management, in partnership with benefit brokers.
Ensure compliance with domestic and international benefits regulations and maintain best-in-class governance practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Talent Partners to support strategic business planning and budgeting. Prepare executive and Board level updates on the effectiveness and recommended enhancements to our benefit programs.
Track and analyze benefits trends, benchmarks, and employee feedback to inform program evolution. Manage global benefit spend proactively.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
10+ years of experience in global benefits strategy, design, and administration
Deep knowledge of domestic and international benefits compliance and regulatory environments, including experience administering self-funded insurance plans
Proven ability to lead high-impact benefits initiatives across multiple geographies in high-growth tech or fintech companies
Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and RFP processes
Strong analytical and communication skills with a data-driven decision-making approach
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels
Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development
Familiarity with Workday, UKG or other global HRIS platform
Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range:
$162,500 – $212,500
