Senior Manager, Controllership Scalability & AI Execution

13 March 2026

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

We are building the Ripple Controllership to move at the speed of crypto, and we need a “Lead Sniper.” We are looking for a seasoned CPA who doesn’t just strategize about AI from a distance, but actually builds and implements the workflows that will accelerate our global team.

Reporting to the Assistant Global Controller, you will be responsible for identifying manual friction and deploying AI-driven solutions across our global departments. You are not just managing projects; you are fundamentally changing the “speed of play” for our team

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Architectural Strategy & AI Deployment: Develop and implement a strategy for AI tools and automation. You will translate complex accounting workflows into technical requirements, partnering closely with Finance Systems, IT, and Data Engineering to co-develop and deploy AI agents from “zero to one.”
  • Process Architecture & Integration: Lead the “Scouting Report” on our current workflows. Design robust, scalable financial processes that meet the company’s current needs and future growth, ensuring seamless data flow between AI solutions and core systems like Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Agile Project Management: Own the roadmap for transformation projects. You will break down complex initiatives into short weekly “sprints,” ensuring the team sees immediate value and maintains momentum.
  • Consultative Change Leadership: Serve as the bridge for our hesitant operations teams. You will use your “consultant toolkit” to diagnose bottlenecks, build trust, and coach the team through the transition from manual work to AI-augmented workflows.
  • Compliance & Shielding: Ensure all automated processes are robust, audit-ready, and fully compliant with US GAAP. You are the safeguard that ensures innovation doesn’t create risk.
  • Ruthless Prioritization: Manage the “Transformation Backlog.” You will decide what we fix now, what we automate next, and what we stop doing entirely to save the team’s bandwidth.

Hands-on Execution: Willingness to jump into the trenches to execute and unblock bottlenecks, ensuring high development velocity across the controllership.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • CPA + AI/Tech Fluency: CPA is preferred. You have a deep understanding of seasoned accounting principles combined with a proven track record of implementing AI/automation solutions.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 or Management Consulting highly preferred.
  • Core Finance Process Expertise: In-depth understanding of processes like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and how they map to enterprise systems.
  • The “Sniper” Mindset: You are precise, autonomous, and high-velocity. You prefer “moving fast and fixing things” over long, drawn-out committee meetings.
  • Expert Project Management: You don’t just “task-manage”; you architect projects. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma is a significant plus.
  • Hands-on Implementation: Proven ability to leverage Tier 1 ERPs (Oracle Fusion preferred) and integrate them with third-party tech solutions to transform business processes.
  • Consultative Communication: You can talk shop with auditors and talk code with developers. You are an expert at “selling” change to a hesitant audience and unblocking people who are stuck in the weeds.

Strategic Problem Solving: You don’t just put out fires; you build fireproof systems.
