You will lead an Agile Team by planning and tracking team progress from intake through the product and feature lifecycle. Your role will be to ensure continuous improvements in user experience and data availability by making experiences across systems easier through UX and integrations at the data and user tiers. You will coach team members to deliver Change Management and Customer Enablement. Leveraging Generative AI to deliver value across Indeed, as well as enabling the team through reporting and Data Tools, will be key deliverables of this role. You will partner closely with Security to implement security standards, particularly in identity management, vulnerability remediation, and data governance. You will develop exceptional Vendor Relationships to ensure Indeed is achieving the expected value, including comparing functionality across systems and conducting market analysis, particularly with AI features to determine the best fit for Indeed.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Business Applications for IT, you will ensure the successful running of reliable and valuable SaaS technology systems with measurable improvements to remove productivity obstacles and fuel growth across the company. You’ll run a talented team, setting the strategic direction and roadmap for the SaaS tools, ensuring they meet business needs while driving continuous improvement and innovation.

- Manage a High-Performance Team:
Manage a team to become High-Performance focused on delivering highly valuable SaaS solutions by fostering a growth-focused team culture, mentoring future technical leaders, and effectively managing performance with frequent feedback. Coach each team member to develop cross-organizational collaboration, technical, and user-focused skills, and to deepen their ability to deliver value across Indeed.
- Drive Initiatives:
Drive impactful Initiatives and Key Results that drive improvements across Indeed at a large scale, and Projects to address specific business needs. You will lead a matrixed project team to drive alignment between technical, long-term strategic, and business goals and deliver measurable business value.
- Shape SaaS Strategy & Solutions:
Define and execute the SaaS roadmap, optimizing the system’s measured business value delivery and improving how SaaS tools are experienced by users through administration, monitoring, and a deep understanding of user needs. Partner with vendors to ensure tools provide maximum value and align with evolving business needs
- Collaborate Across Functions:
Be a trusted advisor by building excellent relationships with customers, advocating for team initiatives, and aligning with other IT and business teams to craft solutions that drive positive change. Understand user needs to optimize tool functionality and efficiency through frequent Ride-Alongs, User Interviews, and other UX research techniques.
- Drive Technical Excellence:
Deliver impactful architectural projects, including tool replacements, system upgrades, and feature launches. Establish best practices, create user guidelines, and set standards that ensure the scalability, security, and quality of our SaaS solutions
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Proven ability to head cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, manage complex projects, and adapt to new challenges
- Proven communicator and collaborator, with a passion for coaching and growing team members and building partnerships across functions
- Experience in Agile methodologies and SDLC tools to plan and track team progress.
- Enterprise Integration design or API coding experience
- Experience with Release Management and Customer Enablement
- Experience implementing security standards, identity management, and administering confidential information
- Experience in managing and improving Generative AI Tools

Salary Range Disclaimer
The salary range for this role reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the role. Where applicable, offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees.
