About the team:

OKX is a global organization that has customers worldwide with offices in the United States (San Jose, San Francisco and New York City), Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. OKX’s Legal team provides legal advice and guidance to the Company across all coverage areas and geographic locations, and supports business growth and development by working with all teams within the company to help them achieve their goals. About the Opportunity

The right candidate will have prior experience in Legal Operations. They should also have strong organizational skills, sound judgment and decision-making skills, the ability and desire to work collaboratively with a high-functioning legal team, and an interest in the cryptocurrency and fintech industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with the setup and improvement of legal operations processes, including the evaluation of and implementation of legal tools
  • Support the onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for legal technology platforms (e.g., contract lifecycle management, e-billing, matter management)
  • Design, develop, and implement legal processes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiencies and help the team build for scale
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights on legal team performance, operational metrics, and tool usage
  • Provide administrative and operational support as needed, including organizing documents and updating trackers to ensure recordkeeping
  • Assist with special projects as needed, including providing support related to legal operations, project management, and corporate governance

What We Look For In You:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience in legal operations
  • Ability to assist in the development of various legal processes, policies and playbooks
  • Self-starter, quick learner, hard working, highly driven and proactive
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage and multi-cultural environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous in-house experience at a Fintech or financial service company’s legal department
  • Professional/personal experience and enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies, Web3, and blockchain technology
  • Experience working on cross-jurisdictional matters and a global legal team

OKX Statement:

The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $160,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
