THE WORK:
Ripple is looking for a Senior Employee Events Specialist to join our internal communications team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact Ripple’s employee experience through company-wide events, recognition and anniversary programs, branded goods and more. This position is in-person, based in San Francisco.
The ideal candidate has a successful track record of planning and executing events and has stellar written communication skills. You’ll work with stakeholders across teams in our 15+ offices to bring engaging, informative and inspiring events and employee programs to our global team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage planning and execution of Ripple’s internal events for employees, including quarterly all-employee celebrations and annual company holiday parties (for the Americas, Europe and APAC regions). This responsibility includes owning the budget and vendor/agency relationships.
- Manage the internal events calendar and work closely with cross-functional partners like Workplace Specialists and Employee Resource Group leads to provide counsel and support on employee programming and activations.
- Plan and facilitate monthly business-focused lunch-and-learns, featuring internal and external leaders.
- Own and expand programs to celebrate employee anniversaries, our annual Values awards, and manage branded goods for employees in partnership with the design team.
- Regularly gather qualitative and quantitative feedback; propose and execute on potential solutions to improve programs and processes.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in communications, events and/or employee experience.
- Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent at project management that requires collaborating with many contributors.
- Seeks opportunities outside of existing programming to add value and deliver to the team’s broader success.
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
CA Annual Base Salary Range
$112,000—$140,000 USD
