Senior Golang Data Engineer — Blockchain & High-Load ServicesAbout Everstake
Everstake is the largest blockchain validator in Ukraine, operating nodes in 70+ networks. We collect, process and serve terabytes of blockchain data to help ecosystems and token holders make better decisions.We are looking for an engineer who lives at the intersection of data and infrastructure: someone who writes industrial-grade Go and loves squeezing every last micro-second out of high-load services.
What you will do:
Data engineering
- Design, implement and operate ETL/ELT pipelines for multi-chain datasets (TB scale).
- Choose optimal storage engines (SQL / NoSQL / columnar) and schema strategies.
- Automate data collection, validation and monitoring.
High-load Go services
- Write scalable, well-tested Golang micro-services (10k+ RPS, 24/7 uptime).
- Own critical architectural decisions, from API contracts to caching layers.
- Profile, benchmark and optimise for latency and throughput DevOps & observability
- Containerise everything with Docker and deploy to Linux-based infra.
- Instrument services with Prometheus/Grafana, set SLOs/alerts.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infra-as-code.
Collaboration
- Work closely with product, blockchain researchers and fellow engineers.
- Explain complex technical topics in plain English to non-technical teammates.
Must-have qualifications:
- 5+ years professional software development, 3+ years in Go.
- Solid Data-Engineering background: SQL (Postgres/ClickHouse), data modelling, large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with high-load, distributed systems (REST/RPC/gRPC, TCP/HTTP/UDP).
- Linux administration basics, Docker in daily workflow.
- Strong testing culture (unit, integration, load).
- Passion for blockchain technology and curiosity about how chains work under the hood.
- Clear written & spoken English.
Nice-to-have:
- Practical work with smart-contract data, crypto wallets or other blockchain subsystems.
- Familiarity with NoSQL caches/queues (Redis, RabbitMQ) and column stores (ClickHouse).
- Experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring peers.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes.
