Required Skills
Erlang + OTP:
– Demonstrated expertise in using Erlang and OTP for system development, with a strong understanding of concurrent programming and fault-tolerant systems.
AWS:
– Extensive experience with AWS services and architecture, including deployment, management, and scaling of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Postgres & Kafka:
– Proficient in managing and utilizing Postgres databases and Kafka for efficient data processing and integration.
Additional Skills:
Elixir:
– Experience with Elixir is valuable, with a preference for transitioning this knowledge to strengthen expertise in Erlang.
Payment Systems:
– Prior experience in designing and building scalable, reliable payment and collection systems is highly beneficial.
Cloud Infrastructure:
– In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS tools and services, to support application development and operations.
Python:
– Knowledge of Python is advantageous, contributing to broader technical versatility and the ability to handle diverse programming tasks.
Problem Solving:
– Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems within systems, while challenging existing processes to drive innovation and improvement.
Communication:
– Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and facilitating successful project outcomes.
Leadership:
– Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of growth and success while driving the team to achieve project goals.
Educational Background
– Candidates should have a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, ensuring a solid foundation in technical principles essential for the position.
