The Opportunity:

Plural is seeking a Senior Engineer to help us design and build the foundation of programmable capital markets. This is a broad role: you’ll work across our backend, frontend, and blockchain systems, depending on your strengths and interests, and you’ll have the chance to shape core product architecture in a fast-moving environment.

You will:

• Architect, build, and ship production-grade features across the stack.

• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to turn complex financial and energy workflows into intuitive software.

• Contribute to our backend services, web applications, and (where relevant) smart contract layer.

• Take ownership from prototype through deployment, balancing velocity and reliability.

• Work in tight feedback loops with the CTO and other senior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Required

  • 3+ years of experience architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining production web apps or backend services

  • Proficiency in Python or another server-side language

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, data modeling, and cloud-native environments

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

  • Hungry, driven self-starter with high agency and attention to detail

  • Exposure to blockchain or DeFi systems

  • Experience with Django

  • Experience building in Google Cloud

  • Integrating AI across the stack and into product
