– Validate and critique models across a wide range of applications (credit risk, marketing, fraud detection, forecasting, etc.)
– Work closely with model developers to improve quality, transparency, and documentation
– Build benchmarking models and design rigorous test methodologies
– Influence model governance and help shape Klarna’s standards around model risk management
– Strong experience in building statistical and machine learning models
– Solid foundational knowledge in mathematics and statistics
– Proficiency in Python and SQL
– An academic background in Physics, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or Biology
– Prior experience as a Senior Data Scientist, ideally within a regulated environment or fintech context
