Now, we are seeking a Data Analyst – Trading Data Specialist to bridge the gap between trading teams and data operations.
In this role, you will focus on producing, reconciling, and ensuring the accuracy of critical trading data. Your insights and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the efficiency and performance of our trading operations.
Your mission will be to
- Collaborate with trading teams to understand data requirements and ensure timely delivery of actionable insights.
- Design and implement processes to generate, validate, and reconcile trading data across systems.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reports and dashboards.
- Analyse trading performance metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to provide traders with real-time data insights.
- Create detailed documentation for data workflows, reconciliation processes, and reporting standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize data-related projects and improvements.
- Identify inefficiencies in data production and reconciliation processes, proposing and implementing improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data management and reporting.
- Support the automation of repetitive tasks to streamline data workflows.
Requirements
Background and experience
- Fluency in English (French is a plus).
- Strong understanding of trading operations and financial instruments (crypto, derivatives, spot …).
- Proven experience in data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting within a trading or financial environment.
- Proficiency in data tools and technologies, such as SQL, Dbt, and Looker.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing is a plus.
- Experience with databases and data pipelines; knowledge of data warehousing solutions is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
