Senior Backend Engineer (.NET 8) – Remote or Amsterdam
Hey there!
We’re Celebratix, a fast-growing ticketing platform reimagining how fans and organizers interact with events. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who’s excited about clean architecture, high performance, and working on something that actually scales.
We’re currently running on .NET 8, with plans to migrate to .NET 9 soon. Our infrastructure runs on Kubernetes, monitored with Grafana and Kibana, deployed via GitHub Actions, and protected by Cloudflare. We handle payments with Stripe, so experience with payment flows and webhooks is a plus.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and background services using .NET 8 (soon .NET 9)
- Work on high-traffic systems where performance, reliability, and security matter
- Integrate and maintain our Stripe-based payment flows (checkout, refunds, webhooks, etc.)
- Own services from design to deployment (CI/CD via GitHub Actions, running on K8s)
- Monitor and troubleshoot using Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, and logging best practices
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, product, and design – everyone has a seat at the table
- Constantly improve our architecture and backend infrastructure
Who you are
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET 8
- Skilled in building APIs, background jobs, and distributed systems
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and messaging systems
- Familiar with Stripe or other payment platforms and handling sensitive data
- Comfortable with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment
- Familiar with CI/CD via GitHub Actions
- Experience using Elasticsearch/Kibana for monitoring/log analysis
- Proactive, autonomous, and quality-focused
- You enjoy mentoring and sharing knowledge within the team
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloudflare (security, routing, caching)
- Experience with Node.js (we occasionally use it for supporting tools)
- Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for async/event-driven systems
- Familiarity with Stripe payment integrations and webhook patterns
- Background in ticketing, events, or other transactional platforms
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
If you’re a backend engineer who loves clean architecture, smart APIs, and working on a product that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re remote-friendly, but if you’re in The Netherlands, you’re more than welcome to swing by our Amsterdam office. We’re usually there twice a week and would love to have you around.
