As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend systems to support our diverse product offerings. You will work alongside a talented team of developers and engineers, creating scalable and efficient backend services that enhance user experiences across our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data through implementing best practices in database management.
  • Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations to improve our tech stack.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices and serverless components.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on server-side architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Extensive experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices for web applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
