What You Will Do: We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who is excited to help customers prevent attackers from compromising their business environment. We’re seeking an individual who is collaborative, passionate about their customers’ success, listens carefully to their customers’ needs, and can effectively evangelize IRONSCALES across their territory/region. This role is critical for our client success and our internal company success as it provides a critical sales oriented technical interface between our sales, marketing, product, and research & development teams.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate how our solution address these requirements to expose our business value proposition.
  • Understanding and document what customers need, establish IRONSCALES’s platform as the best solution that solves their challenges. You need to have the ability to build and present customized demos of the IRONSCALES platform, convey a deep understanding of the customer’s technology as it pertains to the IRONSCALES platform.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills make you the right person for this job.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, but also manage expectations of both customers and peers.
  • Motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proposing solutions and advocating on behalf of clients or sales team with our product and development team.
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management, respond effectively to RFPs, and travel to customers, based on territory alignment and region.

Requirements

What We Need from You:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Sales Engineer or similar customer facing sales roles. You are a strong problem solver with the ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions to problems you have not encountered before.
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions as a sales engineer
  • Experience with Cloud / AWS / Hosted Environments
  • Nice to have: Cybersecurity Background with a technical understanding of common incident response, computer forensics, messaging security analysis and general Cybersecurity/SOC practices.
  • Nice to have: Experienced with one or multiple email suites: Office 365, Google Workplace, and Microsoft Exchange (on-premises).
  • Nice to have: Experienced with interacting with RESTFUL APIs (Microsoft, Google, etc.) and automation scripting (examples: python, Powershell, etc.).
  • Nice to have: Experience with a typical software development lifecycle (sdlc) conducted within Atlassian JIRA or similar project/issue tracking system.
  • Nice to have: BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, equivalent work experience, or technical certifications.
