The Virtual Demand Center is one of Cisco’s fastest-growing sales and marketing teams and is the talent engine for Cisco Sales & Marketing with diverse and motivated teams that consistently deliver profitable growth. We serve our customers through a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an optimal experience from Cisco solutions to drive relevant business outcomes. We are a global, dynamic team that brings excitement to the sales environment every day. We connect Cisco customers with solutions that can transform their businesses and change the world for the better.

Responsibilities

Prospect into new customers and identify opportunities in existing accounts.

Engage customers to align Cisco’s solutions with their business needs.

Qualify inbound inquiries and collaborate with Field Sales Teams to drive growth.

• Drive engaging and relevant conversations with the customers by matching our products and solutions to solve the customers’ business objectives.
• Create, develop, and close opportunities from qualified leads, working directly with the customer, engineering, and partners.
• Manage sales opportunities while using powerful technologies to remotely communicate with customers and leverage new sales models (cloud, services & software) to help customers increase their revenue.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle for qualified opportunities and help generate pipeline in all segments of Cisco’s business.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of meaningful work experience. Sales experience in the IT sector would be ideal.
• Strong multi-tasking, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of applications and willingness to learn other sales tools and applications.
• Full proficiency in English and German.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing leads and using tools like Salesforce, Gong, Sales Navigator, Zoominfo… would be a plus.
