The Sales Activation Program Manager serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating closely with sales leaders and senior leaders to demonstrate the value of sales technology to enhance performance. As a dedicated technology champion, you will lead change management initiatives designed to encourage and empower teams to embrace our tools. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of sales processes and value-driven messaging, you will have the opportunity to influence the development and effectiveness of our sales organization by championing technology adoption and fostering a culture of structured, programmatic practices that empower our teams to consistently meet and exceed their targets.
Your core focus is to lead change management efforts and provide consistent support to teams in EMEA. This will include working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to connect business priorities and digital sales technology. You will focus on tool activation, training, communication, and issue resolution.
Primary Responsibilities
Global SME for Programmatic Sales Technology: Serve as the global expert on sales technology, providing insights and guidance to the EMEA sales teams.
Sales Leadership Collaboration: Regularly collaborate with sales leaders to advise on usage metrics, best practices and encourage co-ownership of adoption. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance technology adoption and utilization.
Value Communication and Awareness: Clearly and simply communicate the value of technological changes to ensure smooth adoption. Attend individual team sessions in partnership with leaders to educate teams on the benefits and usage of technology. Collaborate with champions to share stories of success, identify best practices and encourage peer-lead adoption networks.
Problem and Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify problems, provide solutions for stakeholders and find opportunities where technology can accelerate performance.
Feedback Communication: Build strong relationships across the organization and within Cisco. Continuously seek and gather regional feedback, to drive constant improvement.
Support and Issue Resolution: Monitor support requests related to our tools and resolve training needs. Work with system team on technical requests as necessary, while reporting on progress.
Qualifications
· Extensive experience in sales technology and its application in a global environment, focusing on the AI evolution.
· Experience ideally includes modern digital selling processes, MEDDPICC, sales process improvements and sales operations/enablement management.
· Knowledge of current sales technology trends and innovations. Experience with platforms such as Gong, SFDC, LISN, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesloft, and People.ai is advantageous but not required.
· Proven track record of working with sales leaders to drive technology adoption in a global organization with diverse regional requirements.
· Strong stakeholder relationship leadership skills, being able to build positive partnerships and quickly understanding business needs to drive sales performance.
· Strong analytical skills to monitor and interpret the impact of technology on sales performance metrics.
· Excellent communication, influencing and training skills to convey complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
· Proactive problem-solving abilities to identify and address technology-related challenges.
