What you will be doing
Sphere is looking for a full-time revenue operations lead to drive execution and scale across Sphere Pay’s global stablecoin cross-border payments business. You’ll work cross-functionally and hands-on, building the operational backbone revenue teams as we aim to hyper-scale the business. This is a true startup operator role: you’ll manage, execute, and wear every hat — from high-level strategy to hands-on problem-solving — doing whatever it takes to get things done.
Responsibilities
Connect the company’s go-to-market strategy to operational plans, processes, and people – ensuring top-line results are delivered with effective governance.
Partner with Sales to build a well functioning CRM that captures payments volume and revenue for a fast growing, multi-currency payments product
Partner with Sales and Finance on post-sales activities, including contract management, billing/invoicing, and customer tracking
Develop insights into customer health to detect early signals of at-risk renewals and identify upsell opportunities
Ensure processes and policies are clearly communicated and followed by the teams
Own measurement of team and account performance against goals and objectives
Basic Qualifications
Previous experience building the revenue operations function at a B2B Fintech or Payments company
Deep understanding of Hubspot CRM and how to align it with a payments business
Experience designing and implementing pricing strategies for a B2B payments product
Exceptionally organized: brings order to chaos by balancing an obsessive attention to detail with an outcome-driven focus; rapidly defines and refines structure and processes.
Excellent English writing and communication skills
Quickly grasps complex topics, can cut to the essence of things; applies rigorous first-principles, conditional, and probabilistic thinking to tradeoffs and uncertainty.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Crypto-native: active in the crypto ecosystem for multiple cycles.
5+ years of revenue operations experience in B2B payments, cross border preferred
Influenced the design and involved in building RevOps systems and processes
Previous experience in Sales or Customer Success
Lead automation projects to reduce manual load on sales
Extensive experience with data management and an understanding of data transformation and visualization techniques to drive insights and data-driven decision making
Experience managing CRM migrations from start to finish
Experience with commission plan drafting, execution, and reporting
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to be flexible to work more hours during peak times for the sales team
