Title – Product Manager (Data & Retention)
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and analytical Product Manager to take ownership of user retention and engagement, using data insights to drive initiatives that improve user stickiness and reduce churn. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a sharp product sense, and prior experience in derivatives trading or online gaming environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Structured Query Language (SQL) and data visualization tools (such as Tableau) to identify insights from user behavior and product usage data
- Define and execute strategies to improve user retention and reduce churn, focusing more on optimization and lifecycle interventions than new feature development
- Collaborate with marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), analytics, and engineering teams to run data-driven experiments aimed at increasing user engagement
- Segment users by lifecycle stage, usage patterns, and lifetime value (LTV) to create tailored interventions and experiences
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to turn insights into actions and contribute to the broader product and business growth strategy
- Track and optimize key performance indicators such as daily active users (DAU), monthly active users (MAU), user activation, churn rates, lifetime value, and campaign return on investment (ROI)
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs and behavior, especially in high-frequency, high-stakes platforms like trading or gaming
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in product management or growth-focused product roles, ideally in a data-intensive environment
- Strong proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and working knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau
- Proven success in creating and scaling retention or engagement strategies
- Familiarity with the cryptocurrency derivatives market, financial trading platforms, or online gaming ecosystems is highly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and drive consensus across stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and leadership ability
- Passion for experimentation, performance measurement, and continuous improvement
