Responsibilities:

• Lead Interviews & Build Networks

Identify, reach out to, and conduct interviews with financial analysts, corporate executives, regulators, crypto exchange insiders, and blockchain developers. Compile research memos that inform our coverage

• Translate Insights Across Languages

Translate interviews and financial/technical research materials between English and Chinese to support our global correspondents

• Collaborate on News & Enterprise Stories

Work closely with correspondents and editors to identify, research, and contribute to news and enterprise stories related to market movements, corporate finance, economic indicators, and cryptocurrency innovations, as well as suggesting story ideas and themes

• Stay Ahead of the Curve

Monitor financial media, news wires, and crypto-specific platforms to provide timely updates and briefings to our editorial team

• Cultivate Industry Relationships

Build and maintain a network of sources across finance and tech to support accurate, insightful reporting

• Support Editorial Excellence

Performing other journalistic duties as determined by supervisors

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Deep understanding of global finance, economics, blockchain, and regulatory frameworks
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities and editorial instincts
• Passion for journalism, financial markets, and crypto culture
• Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Team player who thrives on collaboration and feedback
• Professionalism in working with sources and stakeholders at all levels
• Commitment to confidentiality and journalistic ethics
