About The Role
As a Research Analyst on the Growth team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing crypto markets using Kaiko’s proprietary data, producing regular, data-driven insights for institutional clients, weekly newsletters, and monthly reports. You will also contribute to the distribution of research across platforms and media, working closely with the marketing team. The ideal candidate has experience in financial analysis, crypto, or journalism, is comfortable with press relations, has strong writing and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Missions & Responsibilities
Research & Content Development
Create original analysis, charts, and commentary for Kaiko’s weekly and bi-weekly newsletters.
Produce sponsored research reports for clients.
Develop bespoke research content for sales enablement, lead generation, and media outreach.
Collaborate with marketing to promote research and expand its reach.
Research Distribution & Media Relations
Represent Kaiko in interviews and podcasts, presenting data-driven market insights.
Cultivate relationships with reporters; pitch original data‑led stories and act as a go‑to expert for commentary.
Provide ghostwriting support for Kaiko stakeholders through thought leadership articles, op-eds, and commentary.
Must have
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong interest and curiosity in crypto and financial analysis.
Previous writing experience, ideally in financial market analysis or a similar style.
Ability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work.
Capacity to propose creative, original research ideas.
Strong public speaking skills and willingness to represent the company in podcasts or TV appearances.
Should have
Ability to work with datasets and create charts using tools such as Tableau. While coding experience is not required, comfort with no-code data tools is essential.
Solid understanding of capital markets.
Nice to have
Familiarity with complex DeFi topics.
Understanding of derivatives markets (options, futures, perpetual futures) and experience analyzing metrics such as open interest.
