The Regulatory Reporting function is an integral component of Finance’s risk management and reporting process, helping to ensure Coinbase remains in compliance with the regulatory requirements. We are looking for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst who has a positive attitude and is highly motivated to learn and grow within the organization, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast paced multi-task oriented environment. This position will play a crucial role in meeting our regulatory reporting obligations in various local and international jurisdictions. You will work and collaborate closely with many stakeholders across the organization, including regulatory compliance, finance, and data, to ensure the accurate and complete filing of our regulatory reports. This role will report to the Regulatory Reporting Manager.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Prepare and coordinate regulatory report filings and ad-hoc inquiries from state and international licensing bodies.
  • Assist with internal, external and regulatory audits.
  • Draft and maintain reporting & regulatory policies and procedures and ensure compliance with key controls.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the reporting process.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • Minimum of 3 years working in public accounting or in the fintech/financial services industries preferred
  • Regulatory or financial reporting experience, such as CCAR, FR Y-9C, and FFIEC 031.
  • Experience with state money transmission license regulatory reporting is a strong plus.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills (MS Excel), business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail.
  • Able to work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with reporting tools, such as Workiva and Netsuite.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake, Looker or similar analytics tools.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$108,630$127,800 USD
