Job Title: Regional Sales Director
Location: Remote – Latam
Regional Sales Directors are servant-leaders dedicated to enabling their team. They are experts at navigating complex sales cycles, building calculated business plans, and enjoy the thrill of closing a deal.
In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing sales executives across our Latam market. You will be responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, building key client relationships, exceeding sales goals, and creating an engaging and supportive environment for your team.
In this role, you will:
Mentor, coach, and lead a successful sales team to exceed their quotas and achieve business objectives
Own and exceed annual sales targets through strategic planning, pipeline development, and execution
Drive complex, consultative enterprise deals with stakeholders across compliance, legal, risk management, and executive leadership
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, financial institutions, and fintechs entering the Web3 space
Stay ahead of the curve on crypto regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, FATF guidelines, MiCA, FinCEN), risk frameworks, and blockchain technologies to serve as a trusted advisor
Understand the intricacies of your teams’ sales activity and track the results to inform your forecasts and individual development plans
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless onboarding and customer retention
Develop an effective and efficient strategy for recruiting and onboarding new Account Executives on the sales motion at Chainalysis
Provide accurate and timely forecasts and updates on sales activity, helping to inform overall sales strategy across the business
We’re looking for candidates who have:
7+ years of B2B enterprise SaaS sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a sales leadership or management role
Recent experience selling to compliance, risk, or legal teams—ideally within blockchain, crypto, fintech, or RegTech industries
Deep understanding of blockchain, crypto markets, and regulatory trends (e.g., AML, KYC, FATF, MiCA, FinCEN, SEC guidance)
Track record of consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar ARR targets in complex, consultative sales environments
Strong ability to lead, coach, and scale sales teams in high-growth settings
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms, and sales analytics
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with executive-level buyers
