About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior QE Engineer / SDET to own and evolve our automation ecosystem across Android, iOS, Browser Extension, and Web.
You’ll help us scale from traditional Appium + Java automation toward a unified, modern framework that integrates seamlessly into CI/CD (GitHub Actions + Argo Workflows) and provides high-signal, reliable, observable test results.
This role is highly technical — you’ll design frameworks, improve CI/CD reliability, and mentor developers to “shift left” on quality.
Responsibilities
Own the automation testing platform for mobile, web, and extension applications.
Refactor and extend our existing Appium + Java setup into a scalable, maintainable, cross-platform framework.
Integrate testing into CI/CD using GitHub Actions and Argo Workflows — enabling smoke, regression, and release-gate pipelines.
Implement best practices for test parallelization, tagging, stability, and flake detection.
Improve test observability — build dashboards, trend tracking, and HTML/video reporting for test runs.
Establish standards for test code quality, folder structure, data management, and contribution guidelines.
Collaborate closely with Platform, Mobile, Backend, and Web teams to embed automated checks early in development.
Mentor engineers on testing techniques, CI/CD integration, and reliability practices.
Requirements
2+ years in QA automation / SDET roles with experience owning test frameworks end-to-end.
Deep knowledge of Appium, Java/Kotlin/RN, and BrowserStack (or similar device farms).
Strong experience with Playwright or Selenium for web/extension testing.
Proven ability to integrate automation into GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows with matrix / parallel jobs.
Experience improving flake stability, introducing retries and automatic quarantines.
Familiarity with reporting frameworks (Allure, ExtentReports, custom HTML) and artifact management.
Working understanding of Android and iOS build pipelines, web extensions, and backend mocking/stubbing.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with visual regression or performance testing (Applitools, k6, Lighthouse).
Prior work on quality dashboards or data-driven test analytics.
Exposure to containerized test environments (Docker-based execution).
Familiarity with cloud infra (AWS, EKS) and how automation runs within those ecosystems.
What You’ll Improve
Bring modern testing standards and CI/CD discipline to a multi-platform environment.
Shorten release cycles by making automation feedback fast and trusted.
Increase visibility through test observability and health metrics.
This is a global and fully remote role. You must have the right to work for the country you are based.
Be a part of the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem that continues to grow.
Excellent learning and career development opportunities.
Work alongside diverse, world-class talent, in an environment where learning and growth opportunities are endless.
Tackle fast-paced, challenging and unique projects.
Work in a truly global organization, with international teams and a flat organizational structure.
Work fully remotely with flexible working hours.
Enjoy competitive salary and benefits.
