About Squads:
Since 2021, we’ve built products and APIs that unlock the benefits of modern money.
We began with Squads Protocol, the autonomous finance layer built on Solana. Secured by Solana’s permissionless ledger, Squads Protocol enables programmable payments, 24/7 USD liquidity, competitive yields and security enforced by deterministic code, not corporate promises.
The new financial stack is being built on blockchains, powered by tokenized assets, and designed for a world where value moves as freely as information. We build on Squads Protocol to bring this stack to every developer, business, and individual.
Stablecoins were once a niche experiment. Today, they’re one of the fastest-growing technologies in history. The question isn’t if stablecoins consume every aspect of finance, but when. We’re here to compress that timeline. Join us.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to help shape the next-generation crypto experience through Fuse, our mobile consumer app. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, engineering, and product thinking.
As a Product Engineer, you won’t just write code—you’ll help define what we build, how it feels, and why it matters. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn complex ideas into beautiful, intuitive experiences that set a new bar for Web3 usability.
You’ll own features from ideation to implementation, obsess over the details, and make strategic decisions that balance performance, user delight, and scalability. If you’re passionate about clean code, elegant UX, and meaningful product impact—this role is for you
About Fuse
The Finance app for modern money
- Traditional wallets (Phantom/Backpack) are more like social apps: focused on trading, connecting to every app/chain. They create amazing experiences but it’s not where i want to hold a large percentage of my net worth (it’s like a prepaid debit card – great but wouldn
- Fuse is more like your bank account for stablecoins and tokenized assets. Whereas most wallets focus on social features, connecting to every app/blockchain or start with a specific feature like payments. Fuse starts with security, being the place you would trust holding a large percentage of your network, then has added things like Fuse Card on top as extensions of that base security.
- Fuse is about trading over investing, curation of discovery (aka connecting to every app). Things like average wallet value and stablecoin TVL are more indicative of our success than something like Phantom which is focused on trading, and that’s why they charge fees on their swaps.
What you will be doing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and mobile teams to build and iterate on core features of the Fuse mobile app
- Own end-to-end feature development: from concept, UX brainstorming, and architecture to testing, release, and iteration
- Turn high-level product ideas into simple, intuitive, and performant experiences
- Advocate for the user and proactively identify friction points or UX inconsistencies
- Ensure excellent UI quality by focusing on performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and device compatibility
- Instrument key product analytics and use data to inform improvements
- Participate in product reviews, help prioritize the roadmap, and weigh in on user flow, screen design, and feature scope
Qualifications
- Skilled in Typescript (3+ years)
- Experience with Solana Web3.js
- Familiarity in the SVM / Solana runtime
- Familiarity with Anchor or pure native Solana development in Rust
- Familiarity in the Solana ecosystem (Defi, Staking, & more)
- Experience with Webpack, ESBuild, Vite or similar front-end tooling (3+ years)
Nice to have:
