As a Product Designer, you play a pivotal role within the product team, partnering with the PM and Engineering Lead. Engaging with peers across different functions within the organization, you contribute to cross-product projects. With 3–6 years of experience across various stages of the product design process, you balance attention to detail with a growing understanding of the broader project landscape.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Strong proficiency designing in Figma, with an eagerness to stay updated on industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product design process, from vision and discovery through to delivery.
  • Ability to interpret and translate product requirements into compelling design solutions, presenting multiple viable paths forward.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and seek guidance when needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive and collaborative approach to challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the PM and Engineering Lead within your product team.
  • Collaborate with peers of similar levels in different functions, contributing to cross-product projects.
  • Utilize your experience across stages in the product design process, from vision and discovery through to delivery.
  • Interpret product requirements, presenting multiple paths forward early on, occasionally identifying gaps or improvement areas.
  • Draft research plans and help organize user research, with regular guidance and sign-off from a researcher.
  • Comfortably create testable prototypes at various fidelity levels and iterate prototypes based on feedback from the team, clients, and users.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in interaction and visual design methods and strive for clear and crisp work across multiple product areas.
  • Actively listen to peers in the experience organization and your product team, engaging in constructive dialogue.
  • Share work frequently with the design team and product team, seeking feedback and providing feedback in critiques and other working meetings.
  • Work through issues and blockers independently, combining research and guidance to solve problems.
  • Confidently meet project time commitments, actively following up on questions and requests, and ship work regularly.
