Principal Product Manager – Risk & Anti-Fraud Platform

We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager – Risk & Anti-Fraud Platform to own and scale our platform. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, and Ops to build systems that balance speed, user experience, and trust.

Your mission: build an intelligent, multi-layered fraud prevention engine that stops bad actors while ensuring a frictionless experience for legitimate users. You will lead the integration of best-in-class tools, define our risk rules and models, manage scheme disputes, and stay one step ahead of emerging threats in the crypto and payments landscape.

• Own the product roadmap for KAST’s anti-fraud capabilities, covering card payments, account takeover, and other fraud vectors.
• Lead the integration and management of fraud detection tools and vendors (e.g., Sardine, Sift, etc.).
• Define, test, and deploy risk rules, monitoring thresholds, and machine learning models in close collaboration with Data Science and Risk Operations.
• Analyze fraud trends and attack vectors to proactively identify and mitigate new threats.
• Own the product experience for users impacted by anti-fraud measures, including designing clear communication and resolution flows.
• Develop and manage the systems for handling payment scheme disputes, optimizing for both recovery rates and operational efficiency.

• Own the end-to-end KYC/CDD product, from initial identity verification to ongoing due diligence and risk scoring.
• Integrate and orchestrate multiple KYC/AML vendors (e.g., SumSub, Onfido, Chainalysis, ComplyAdvantage) to optimize for pass rates, cost, and regional compliance.
• Define and iterate on AML rules and workflows, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and risk-based alerting.
• Partner closely with the Compliance and Legal teams to translate regulatory requirements into a clear, actionable product roadmap.
• Act as the product owner for KAST’s internal compliance tools, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations teams.
• Innovate on new compliance methods—leveraging AI, dynamic workflows, and alternative data—to enhance onboarding speed and detection capabilities.
