The Opportunity
- Seeking an experienced PMC Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in detailed mechanical engineering and execution-phase support for Oil & Gas projects in KSA. The role involves supervising contractor mechanical engineers and ensuring engineering deliverables meet project, safety, and quality standards.
What you’ll do
- Review and approve mechanical detailed engineering deliverables (equipment datasheets, layouts, calculations).
- Supervise contractor mechanical engineers during execution.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and client standards.
- Support construction by resolving mechanical design issues.
- Participate in vendor technical evaluations and FAT/SAT activities.
- Ensure constructability, maintainability, and safety of designs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years mechanical engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years Oil & Gas experience in the GCC.
- PMC experience managing contractor mechanical teams.
