At Aside, we’re looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager who knows their way around Google, Meta, and the ever-evolving world of performance marketing. You don’t just talk strategy. You dive into testing creative, refining audience segments, and pushing every campaign to outperform the last.

You’ll work closely with our VP of Marketing to shape and execute paid acquisition efforts that help grow the Daffy community in a big way. This contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and mutual fit.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and manage performance marketing campaigns with a strong focus on Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and Google Search, with potential to expand into additional channels such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and other high-potential platforms
  • Develop and execute media strategies aligned with key performance goals (e.g., ROAS, CAC, LTV)
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing and small but mighty marketing team to test and iterate creative, messaging, and offers
  • Own audience segmentation and targeting to maximize reach, efficiency, and relevance
  • Analyze campaign performance and deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manage channel budgets, pacing, and bidding strategies to optimize for growth and efficiency
  • Lead structured A/B testing across creative, copy, audiences, and placements to identify scalable winners
  • Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging opportunities

About You

  • 4+ years of hands-on paid media experience for a consumer brand, fintech company, or political campaign (agency or in-house)
  • Proven track record of improving CAC and ROAS through structured testing and optimization
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and trying new approaches in a fast-paced, lean environment
  • Experience collaborating with designers to produce static/video assets—or even better, creating assets yourself with Canva or AI tools
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, attribution models, and landing page experimentation
  • Proficient with ad tech tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, and attribution platforms like Heap
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Passionate about consumer behavior, digital marketing trends, and brand storytelling

Compensation & Role Structure

We offer salary bands to ensure fairness and transparency. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to convert to full-time in 2026. The position is open to candidates across the U.S., with a preference for those based in the Bay Area and open to a hybrid schedule (2 days/week in office).

  • Bay Area (Hybrid): $120,000 – $150,000/yr
  • Remote (U.S.-based): $100,000 – $130,000/yr
