Your Mission
Shape and implement our People and Talent strategies for the CFO and Compliance functions. As the People Partner for these critical business areas, you will collaborate directly with the Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, and their leadership teams to translate their strategic goals into tailored People and Talent solutions. You will bring a strong functional understanding of finance, legal, and regulatory environments to the table, reframing business challenges through the lens of talent, employee experience, and organisational design. Additionally, you will provide functional oversight of Talent Acquisition to ensure high-impact hiring practices aligned with the evolving needs of these business units.
You are the go-to People Partner for the senior leadership teams, representing the broader People function while driving collaboration with our Centres of Expertise – including People Services, People Intelligence, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development – to deliver integrated, future-ready People solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CFO, General Counsel and their leadership teams, applying domain knowledge of finance, legal and regulatory landscapes to craft proactive and tailored People and Talent strategies.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all People-related topics in the CFO, Legal, and Compliance domains. Anticipate and assess needs, bringing forward solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead the creation and execution of workforce planning and organisation design strategies, identifying critical roles, capabilities, and capacity needs across Finance, Legal, and Compliance functions.
- Partner with People Intelligence to assess workforce trends, measure capability against business objectives, and inform decision-making with people analytics.
- Stay ahead of trends in financial services regulation (e.g. IFRS, AML, GDPR), legal risk, governance, and compliance to ensure our workforce design remains resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
- Act as a steward of talent – drive an integrated approach to succession planning, performance management, and leadership development. Facilitate quarterly Talent Insight sessions and ensure strategic visibility of top talent and critical role pipelines.
- Oversee functional management of Talent Acquisition within the CFO, Legal, and Compliance areas: ensure business-aligned headcount planning, define critical hiring priorities, and support inclusive hiring practices in collaboration with TA leads.
- Define and own the performance management strategy in these domains – from identifying development opportunities and leadership potential to managing performance risks.
- Coach senior leaders on organisational effectiveness, leadership behaviours, and team integration as they navigate growth, regulatory change, and business transformation.
- Lead change management and employee engagement initiatives to support evolving ways of working, regulatory requirements, and risk-conscious cultures across your business areas.
