Overview:
Joining a young, dynamic, and rapidly expanding team, you will be instrumental in building our global, distributed organization. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive People Operations Generalist / Junior HR Business Partner to ensure our day-to-day operations run smoothly, are scaling and adapt to the demands of our fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will manage daily operations and provide essential support to employees and contractors worldwide. Another major component of the job is aligning policies and programs across our associated orgs.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities and communicating with diverse stakeholders. You will partner directly with a CEO for operational matters, and have a reporting line to a Head of People for strategic decisions.
Location: Remote (Europe or US East Coast)
Responsibilities:
Be the go-to person on the People Team for a global, distributed team
Offer foundational advice on employment law and adherence to contractor regulations throughout the employee lifecycle
Manage and administer people systems, records, onboarding and offboarding, and benefits for employees and contractors globally
Partner with Employer of Records providers to manage local employment and contractor workforce
Run our current people programs and launch new ones to make things better for everyone by simplifying operations and improving the experience for both employees and contractors
Make sure our policies and programs are consistent and compliant across all orgs
Jump in on cross-functional projects where extra help is needed
Requirements:
5+ years in global People Ops for employees/contractors (US, EMEA) in a startup or fast-paced technology environment, particularly those focused on Web3
Able to manage multiple priorities calmly and with good judgement
Experience building and connecting programs/policies across different orgs
Great written and verbal English communication
Super comfortable with tech tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack)
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote setting
Flexibility is necessary for this role, as it primarily involves collaborating with teams across a wide range of time zones, specifically from Central European Time (CET) to Pacific Time (PST)
