About the Team:

We are a dynamic group dedicated to onboarding talented chefs and their recipes into the CookUnity platform. From training chefs on our tools to refining recipes that meet company standards, portfolio and supply chain needs, we ensure a seamless integration into our ecosystem. Our work bridges the gap between culinary creativity and operational excellence, bringing exceptional dishes to life!

The role:

CookUnity is seeking a Business Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on supporting the external creators on our platform, including chefs and food business owners, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and operational support needed to succeed. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for these creators, helping them navigate the platform, optimize their offerings, and streamline their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Assist creators in managing logistics, inventory needs, packaging requirements, and compliance with platform standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for creators (e.g., sales trends, customer feedback) and provide actionable recommendations to improve their success on the platform.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for creators’ operational challenges, troubleshooting issues related to kitchen operations, delivery logistics, or ingredient procurement.
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, tech support) to ensure creators have access to necessary resources like kitchen space, ingredients, and technology tools.
  • Feedback Loop Management: Actively collect feedback from chefs to improve CookUnity’s processes and offerings while advocating for their needs within the organization.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all creators adhere to CookUnity’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Creator Training Support: Assist in guiding new chefs and food business owners through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand CookUnity’s tools, systems, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • English language fluency
  • Ability to work Friday-Tuesday from 11 am to 7 pm EST
  • 2+ years of experience in operations support or customer service roles (experience in food service or creator-focused platforms is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively liaise with chefs and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage inbound support requests and resolve promptly
  • Proficiency using Customer Service software (a plus for Zendesk); Proficiency in Google Suite; Experience with project management software like Monday.com
  • Passion for food and understanding the unique challenges chefs and food entrepreneurs face.
