Who you areYou’ve done this before — 5-8 years of experience spanning at least two of treasury, FP&A, and accounting. Enough to have seen things go wrong, not so much that you can’t do hands-on work. You understand payments — fintech or payments experience strongly preferred. You can explain how cash moves through a cross-border payments business. You’re hands-on — comfortable building the spreadsheet, closing the books, and chasing the invoice yourself. No team to delegate to yet. You’re commercially minded — you see finance as an operational function, not a back-office one. You flag issues before they become problems. You produce clean output — investor updates, board materials, and financial models that are clear, accurate, and produced without heavy supervision. You’re qualified — ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent — or enough experience that the qualification doesn’t matter.Bonus: Experience with stablecoin or crypto treasury, multi-entity consolidation, or Big 4 fintech practice.
