The Service Enablement team supports Anchorage in its mission to be the foundation upon which value is stored and moves safely in the new global economy so that innovation can grow without bounds. The role will support the Service Enablement Lead in assisting business heads/project sponsors, and product/engineering teams in delivering on cross-functional, large-scale change initiatives such as business line launches and legal entity stand-up. Service Enablement applies flexible principles of streamlined implementation strategy to large scale change initiatives, analyzing and incorporating legal, compliance, risk, finance, and operational requirements into strategic initiatives across the company. The role will support the development of project plans, status reporting, process design, testing and procedure documentation, and more to support these goals in an agile but sustainable way.
We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Member of Service Enablement, TPM role:

Technical Skills:

  • Understand and translate technical documentation into actionable items that are digestible by cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., in Legal, Compliance, Global Operations, Finance).
  • Build test plans and monitor launch readiness to ensure safe and sustainable launches in line with stated scope and identified requirements.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Understand project sponsor goals to determine required stakeholders and workstreams; dig into GTM and PDE timelines to incorporate workstream deliverables into a program-wide project plan (capable of breaking down large projects into smaller tasks)
  • Identify and manage dependencies to ensure awareness around impact; mitigate issues that arise from these dependencies with stakeholder engagement and problem solving (analyze trade-offs, recommend and justify priorities, etc.)

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Understand the cross-functional teams impacted by the project/launch to ensure proper engagement and dependencies; work with these teams to ensure well-controlled models are designed at launch, and define required ongoing enhancements to support continued growth/scale over time
  • Do not hoard information or become single point of failure; ensure proper knowledge-sharing and cross-functional understanding to ensure the goal of one area does not put another at risk

Communication and Influence

  • Listen to project team members to identify and quickly remediate emerging risks; ability to push back and challenge others while understanding underlying needs, motivations, emotions, or concerns
  • Effectively communicate project status, roadblocks, impacts and required decision-making to stakeholders; adjust communication to ensure maximum impact and effectiveness based on audience

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

  • A strong technical understanding to effectively guide and support the technical teams.
  • A solid understanding of software engineering principles, technologies, and tools.
  • Great organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to tailor messaging to audiences (including non-technical audiences), as appropriate
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • A curious mind that seeks to understand underlying business goals and technical solutions, and can use this understanding to analyze broader touchpoints and required impact analyses across divisions
  • Collaborative and understanding work style, to ensure proper engagement with teams of different backgrounds and priorities
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and agility, to identify emerging risks quickly, brainstorm solutions, and pivot when goals change
  • Discipline around documentation and development of sustainable models

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

  • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. 🙂
