Anchorage Digital’s trading desk is rapidly growing and is seeking a Weekend Sales Trader to cover the desk and support client execution during off-hours. In this role, you will work closely with institutional clients, providing seamless trade execution and market insight across digital assets. You will collaborate with experienced traders and researchers to manage risk, execute client orders, and identify market opportunities. This role requires strong communication skills, a client-first mindset, and the ability to operate independently during weekend shifts while maintaining high standards of service and execution quality.

Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate deep crypto market knowledge and a strong passion for the digital asset space.
- Provide real-time quotes and execute trades on behalf of institutional OTC counterparties, ensuring best execution and client satisfaction.
- Operate and monitor automated trading systems, adjusting strategy parameters based on market conditions and client flows.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Actively manage open positions on the desk and step in to reduce risk manually when appropriate, balancing firm risk with client needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and macro themes driving digital asset prices to better inform client strategy and execution.
- Exhibit strong “executive presence” — confidence, professionalism, and composure — when engaging with institutional clients, prospects, and C-level stakeholders.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Stay current with evolving trends in the crypto industry, including regulation, product innovation, and best practices in OTC and on-chain settlement.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of major cryptocurrencies and DeFi primitives to effectively advise clients on trade mechanics and opportunities.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Anchorage Digital at industry events and in client interactions, contributing to the firm’s reputation and commercial growth.
Communication and Influence:
- Communicate proactively and clearly with the global trading and operations teams to ensure smooth 24/7 coverage and continuity.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and providing thoughtful trade ideas and insights.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and encouraging ownership of processes and continuous improvement.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- 1+ years of experience in a client-facing OTC or sales trading role within the cryptocurrency space.
- Proven ability to build relationships with institutional clients and convert prospects into active trading counterparties.

- You’re proud of your crypto Twitter feed and ability to uncover narratives driving crypto markets and specific coins.
- You enjoy using memes as a method of communication.
